Visit Manchester is committed to helping each and every visitor make the most of their stay.

At the Visitor Information Centre in Manchester city centre, we respond to over 310,000 information requests each year via telephone, email, by letter or in person.

This is in addition to the 900,000 unique visitors to visitmanchester.com each year.

Services we offer to visitors include: accommodation booking and ticket sales for theatres and national heritage attractions around the region.

We have also developed an exclusive range of Manchester souvenirs that are available to purchase from the Gift Shop within the Visitor Information Centre.

There are nine other Visitor Information Centres within Greater Manchester; one at Salford Quays and others located in the surrounding towns of Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Ashton-under-Lyne and Wigan. The Visitor Information Centre’s provide information services for both residents and visitors.

We work closely with partners in the city-region to improve information provision and ‘make it easy’ for visitors to choose Manchester.

As part of our service to visitors, we have a complaints procedure for dealing with complaints about accredited accommodation providers effectively.
