Leadership and management

The ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management has been designed to give first line managers a solid foundation in their development as a manager. This 12 week course will cover essential areas including decision making, understanding the communication process and achieving objectives through time management.

Eligibility

This course is available to both members and non-members of Visit Manchester. The course is suitable for first-line managers or individuals aspiring to first-line management. Candidates must be in a position which allows them to apply their learning to their job role and to contribute their own experiences as managers/supervisors to the group. 

Costs

Visit Manchester is subsidising the course costs:

  • Visit Manchester members:  £100 plus VAT 

Additional Information

The 6 week course will begin on Tuesday 18th May and classes will take place every Tuesday, 10.00 – 17.00.

Assessment for this qualification will be assignment based.
