The Young Star Chef Initiative aims to recognise Manchester’s emerging chef talent by providing a showcasing opportunity to celebrate their achievements. The participating establishment challenges one of their young chefs to design and produce a signature menu and take over the kitchen for one night only.

Eligibility

This opportunity is available to members of Visit Manchester. The nominated chef must be aged between 17 and 25 and currently working at a Manchester restaurant or hotel.

Additional Information

Visit Manchester offers this opportunity in partnership with Springboard. Participating young chefs will be presented with a Springboard certificate on the evening and a Villeroy and Boch commemorative plate.
