New East Manchester and Manchester City South Partnership appoint joint Head of Marketing

Lesley Lomax has been appointed Head of Marketing for both New East Manchester and the Manchester City South Partnership, a newly created post that will oversee the marketing and communication functions of both regeneration agencies.  Lesley will be based in the marketing co-ordination unit at Marketing Manchester.  

Lesley, who has a business studies degree from Huddersfield University has a background in marketing and solution sales gained through a 10-year career with Hewlett-Packard, where she worked with many of the FTSE 100 companies. During the internet boom of the ‘90s she advised organisations on their on-line business strategy and helped to established many new businesses as a result.

She is currently the Innovation manager for Manchester Knowledge Capital and was previously the Business Development Manager for MIDAS, Manchester’s inward investment agency where among other things worked on the BBC Move North project, working with the BBC to develop a relocation strategy.
